On The Property
Everything you need for a full day — without getting in a car.
The lodges sit on a 60-acre private property at the base of Old Rag Mountain, with catch-and-release ponds, wooded walking paths, picnic spots with views, and room to settle in without feeling rushed. Many guests choose to start at their cabin and spend significant time on the land before heading out to nearby trails, wineries, or towns.

Lodge Property Loop Hike
A gently rolling 1.25-mile loop trail across the property leads through shaded woods and overlooks, passing the remains of an old Appalachia homestead and a shaded mountain stream where guests often pause to cool their feet. This isn’t a destination hike — it’s the land of the lodge itself.

Cocktail Hill
A short walk uphill brings you to Cocktail Hill — a picnic table and pergola perched for panoramic views of the Champlain Valley and the Mitchell Mountains. Plan your visit for about an hour before sunset to watch the light change and stay into the golden hour.
