Renting & Reservation Process
How do I check availability or book a stay?
Availability is shown when you check available dates on the site. If you see open dates, you can submit a request for your desired stay.
How are reservations confirmed?
Your stay is confirmed when we contact you with a confirmation after reviewing your request and availability.
Is there a minimum stay requirement?
Minimum stay requirements vary by date and season and will be shown when you check availability.
How do I access the rental property when I arrive?
Each lodge uses an electronic lock and lockbox. Once your stay is confirmed, you’ll receive the access code.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is typically after 3:00 pm and check-out is by 12:00 noon, unless other arrangements are agreed.
Lodges & Amenities
Do the lodges have internet / Wi-Fi?
Yes. All lodges have reliable internet access.
What is included in the lodges?
Lodges are fully furnished and include linens, towels, and essential household amenities.
Is there a hard-line phone?
No. There are no landline phones at the lodges. Please plan to use your cell phone.
Is cell phone coverage available?
Cell coverage depends on your carrier and location on the property — it can be spotty in some areas.
Is parking available?
Yes. Each lodge has on-site parking for guests.

How far apart are The Lodges from one another?
The lodges are separate and private, connected by short walking distances on shared roads:

How large is the property?
The lodges sit on 60 acres of private property with ample space and privacy
Are there trails on the property?
Yes. Guests can explore walking trails throughout the land.
Is fishing allowed?
Yes. Guests may fish in the on-property pond but for “Catch and Release” only.
What is the nearest winery?
Ducard Vineyards is the closest, at about 4 miles away. Sharp Rock Winery is approximately 4.1 miles away.
Where is the nearest grocery store?
The Little Country Store in Etlan (about 2 miles away) carries basics; for full supermarket shopping visit Food Lion, about 12 miles south in Madison.

How close is Old Rag Mountain?
Old Rag Mountain property connects directly to The Lodges property.
What is the private Old Rag Mountain access?
Guests can request GPS route information that allows direct access to the summit of Old Rag Mountain directly from our property, thereby avoiding the main trailhead parking and congestion. The route intersects the official trail just before the rock scramble to the summit. This information is shared with renters upon request.
